Summer Sahd, LPC
Summer Sahd is a Licensed Professional Counselor who deeply values the privilege of witnessing and supporting so many incredible clients with unique experiences and uncovered paths. Summer provides individual counseling for adolescents (14+) and adults, in-person and virtually, and she has expertise in areas such as grief and loss, life transitions, identity exploration, anxiety, and trauma.
Her therapeutic approach is Existential with an emphasis on Mindfulness and Internal Family Systems/Parts work. Summer is also EMDR-Trained which can be helpful when focusing on trauma to reduce emotional distress. Her style is humanistic and fluid, prioritizing connection and authenticity.
She holds space for all of the dualities of life: sorrow and joy, despair and hope, chaos and calm, etc. She will meet you where you are and accompany you on your journey, creating a therapeutic alliance and utilizing tailored strategies that help you go where you need to go, in a steadied and embodied way. She believes that you deserve the intention and effort it takes from both of you, so that you can live the way you’ve always wanted to!
When not supporting clients, Summer enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to live music, crafting, dancing, reading, watching movies, and being in nature.
