Rebecca Million, LPC-A

Rebecca is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate has always been passionate about helping others. Prior to becoming a counselor, she worked in education as a music teacher.

 

During her time in the classroom, she realized the profound impact of interpersonal connections. Rebecca’s background as a musician and educator has taught her many things that inform her work as a therapist. Music taught her the art of listening- not just to words, but to the unspoken emotions and stories beneath them.

 

In addition to enjoying traditional talk therapy with people of all ages, she also specializes in working with children in play therapy. Similar to music, play therapy is centered around communicating thoughts and feelings not solely with words, but through play: the natural and intuitive language of children. Rebecca’s approach is informed by interpersonal neurobiology, psychodynamic approaches and humanistic theories.

 

Outside of work Rebecca enjoys spending time with friends and family, doing yoga, listening to music and hiking the trails.
