Nicole Galvez, LMSW

Nicole is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who specializes in helping her clients overcome trauma–whether it was recent or in childhood–so they can once again live meaningful and joy-filled lives. 

​

 

Nicole is a graduate of Texas State University where she received her Master of Social Work degree. She is formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy which focuses on desensitization and reprocessing traumatic memories. Nicole is also formally trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, which can aid in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, phobias, panic, and general well-being. In addition to trauma treatment, Nicole serves individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, life transitions, social problems, perinatal mental health concerns, and more.

Nicole emphasizes a relaxed and safe environment and uses strengths-based and person-centered approaches. In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, listening to audiobooks, traveling, and playing with her dogs.
