Melanie Freeman, LMFT
Melanie C. Freeman (She/Her/Hers) is a Texas Licensed Mental Health Therapist who focuses on adult relationships, behavior patterns, and bringing the unconscious to the conscious. Anxiety, depression, dysfunctional ways of thinking, relationship attachments, self-esteem, stress, anger, and substance abuse are some of the many mental health topics she specializes in.
Melanie uses a person-centered, emotionally-focused approach with cognitive behavior therapy practices, dialectical behavioral therapy, and some somatic experiencing techniques. As a yoga teacher for over a decade, she understands the intrinsic motivation between mind and body and the inherent value mental health has on an individual’s quality of life. Her intuitive passion is represented through her ability to model authentic relationships and to help couples and adult individuals learn to effectively manage thoughts, feelings, and emotions with more awareness, acceptance, and accountability. Understanding the value of insight through self-discovery continues to be her leading objective.
