Julie Villarreal, LPC-A

Are you feeling stuck, lost, or disconnected? You want to make a change, to have better relationships, to open up… to finally be yourself. Symptoms and problems continue to repeat in your life to get your attention that something is off. Luckily you have listened and you've made it this far! Feeling the desire to change a pattern or to look within, is a sign you're ready.

I’m here to walk beside you. I’ll help you view your thoughts, feelings and behaviors with curiosity and compassion. We can identify your values and strengths, and learn from your experiences. You can move out of stagnation and transform your challenges into wisdom and resilience.
I work with adult and teen individuals (13+), in-person and virtually.

I meet you where you are by drawing from various humanistic and psychodynamic modalities. My work is trauma-informed and I integrate techniques such as mindfulness, nervous system regulation exercises, parts work/IFS, ACT and CBT.

I prioritize having a positive, trusting and collaborative relationship with my clients, with the foundation of empathy, respect and understanding.

Outside of work, I enjoy nature, yoga and photography. "The medicine is already within the pain and suffering. You just have to look deeply and quietly. Then you realize it has been there the whole time." - Thomas Hubl
