Esme Hoang

Esmeralda Hoang, LPC

Esme is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor who understands the layered, often complicated experience of growing up between cultures, identities, and expectations. Her work centers young adults, teens, and first-generation clients navigating family dynamics, independence, big emotions, academic stress, or the pressure of being “the one who has to figure it out.” Her approach is warm, steady, and grounded. She’s here to help you untangle what’s yours, release what isn’t, and understand how your past and cultural story shape your present. Whether you’re working through trauma, anxiety, or the pressure to keep others afloat, she will help you build self-trust.

As a bilingual therapist who grew up straddling two cultures, she deeply understands the emotional and relational balancing act many first-gen and bicultural clients carry. You won’t have to over-explain, translate your experience, or shrink yourself to be understood. She will meet you exactly where you are and honor your lived experience.

In sessions, she'll work collaboratively and at your pace. This may look like processing trauma, exploring identity, strengthening boundaries, or learning nervous system regulation. Her style is gentle but direct — supportive, yet focused on helping you create real, sustainable change.
