Danielle Leyva, LPC
Danielle Leyva is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping people overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC).
As a therapist, Danielle is highly focused on creating a safe and supportive environment where her clients feel heard and understood. She recognizes that the process of healing requires more than just providing resources and support; it requires actively listening to the unique needs of each individual and working collaboratively to create a personalized plan for growth and recovery.
Danielle has experience working with both teens and adults. She often utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and other modalities based on the clients specific needs.
With her extensive education, vast experience, and compassionate approach, Danielle Leyva is dedicated to helping individuals overcome their mental health challenges and lead more fulfilling lives.
