Bianca Diaz, LPC

Bianca Diaz is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides individual and family therapy. Bianca works with adult individual clients as well as families experiencing parent-child conflict. Her approach is often described as “warm”, “humorous”, “intuitive”, and “insightful” by clients she has worked with. Bianca is multiculturally and LGBTQIA+ affirming, as she identifies within many minority groups herself. Regardless of racial, ethnic, or sexual identity, Bianca strives to create a safe environment for all clients to grow, challenge themselves, and transform their lives.

Her therapeutic approach often merges mindfulness and meditative practices with cognitive behavioral and trauma-informed interventions. Bianca strives to provide collaborative, and empowering care to clients, enabling them to approach life’s challenges with renewed confidence and a well-rounded mental health toolkit!

As a trauma-focused therapist, Bianca also operates from an attachment lens. Bianca’s attachment work has supported individual clients in identifying their attachment styles and in untangling unhealthy relationship dynamics with others. She has completed trainings in EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT).

Bianca’s therapeutic focus typically supports individual clients navigating complex trauma recovery, grief and loss, burnout, anxiety, depression, and challenging family and relational systems. She is particularly passionate about working with clients on navigating major life transitions, self-esteem building, assertive communication and boundary setting, and supporting clients through traumatic losses and experiences.

When not supporting clients, Bianca is usually out dancing to latin music, hiking, or somewhere near water with her large white husky dog Khaleesi!
