Nathanael Robertson, LMSW
Nathanael is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Texas. Holding both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work, he has spent the past 8+ years working in the counseling, non-profit, community advocacy and education spheres. He specializes in working with teens and adults navigating life transitions, cultural/racial identity, grief and loss, anxiety, stress and family/relationship conflict.

Nathanael believes strongly that whether it’s stress from work, pressures from relationships, or hurt from past experiences, we all have things that weigh us down and we need to unpack. His goal is to work alongside you on your healing journey to navigate some of the “fog” that life brings, create a safe place for you to process life events, build coping skills, and work towards the inner peace that too often feels eluding.

His primary modalities are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and strengths-based therapy. His approach is warm and affirming, and he believes in navigating tough spaces with grace, humor, and empathy.

Outside of work, Nathanael enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching and playing pickup sports, finding cheap flight getaways out of Austin, and finding new shows to binge on Netflix!
